Dave was a fountain of energy and the crowd was fantastic: folks felt comfortable enough with the crowd and band to brink their littles along - saw quite a few pre-teens walking about before the show and having a good time during. Charlotte de Witte is great live, put on a hella good show. Enjoyed the show immensely. I have some complaints (being a drummer) about the back beat provided. Sometimes the stomping from the audience was a louder steadier beat than his bass drum but having heard them before, I can only attribute that to something with the specifics on the night and not the quality of their musicianship. At times, perhaps due to the acoustics or a bad signal in his earpiece, they seemed to lose the beat but Dave always looked back and professionally marched in the proper beat-time back looking at George as if to say 'here mate - match this... we're here...get here...' but the band never lost tempo.
